Meet our Managing Director

Hi There!

 

I bring over 30 years of experience in the fields of purchasing, procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management across various industries, including oil and gas, computer hardware and software, data centers, retail, agriculture, insurance, and cosmetics.

My career started when I was in an executive training program for a major New York

department store. Upon graduating from that program, I was given the choice of one of

two career paths to follow: Merchandising or Buying. I chose the Buying route and have never
looked back! After that experience, I felt I could transition into almost any industry, as every company has to purchase something at some point. I thought that merchandising would limit me primarily to the retail space. Turned out it was a great choice!


I went on to a buyer’s position at an Italian oil and gas company after that great experience. This was a natural fit, as I am of Italian descent and speak the language fluently, which was particularly helpful when I was required to communicate with the corporate offices in Milan, Italy, continuously. I went on to other buyer positions until I landed a category manager position in Houston, TX's oil and gas industry.


From there, I took on a position as Director of Procurement at an oil and gas services firm in Houston, TX, followed by a similar role at a data center owner and operator in Dallas, TX. I transitioned to an agricultural company as a director until COVID-19 hit, where I was laid off and out of work for over 15 months. I then found several jobs as a contractor, reviewing contracts for two distinct companies and industries. After this, I decided to utilize all the knowledge and experience I had acquired and start my own business.


I complement my experience with an MBA in International Business from Our Lady of the Lake
University in San Antonio, Texas. I also obtained three related certifications:

  • Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) Lifetime

  • Commercial Contract and Management Expert (CCME)

  • Lean and Agile Project Management (LAPM)


I have also written a book that exemplifies many of the things I have learned and experienced throughout these years in the fields of procurement and broader supply chain management. I currently live with my wife in the Houston, Texas area.​​

Your suppliers can make you or break you. It is imperative that you continually deal with them above board. If you need to ask them for something, even for a limited time, do it as long as it is legal, ethical and moral! However, if you ask for help and get it, realize that one day some help might be asked of you!
